The Thread Vein Consultation Process
The consultation process is design to focus on understanding your medical history in relation to your Thread Veins.
By understanding this we are able to create a picture of how/what may be causing the Thread Veins and therefore determine the best treatment process.
Once this has been completed, your therapist will view your Thread Veins under polarised light (using a special visor) to assess your Thread Veins. (This helps to make the Thread Veins more visible)
Please note: We will need to ask you about any medication you are taking so please bring this with you if you can.
The Thread Vein Treatment Process
The treatment is carried out on a reclined couch specially designed to help us in our treatment but also to keep you very comfortable.
When the treatment starts, the therapist will place the tiny probe against your skin directly over a Thread Vein. This delivers a Veinwave™ pulse, which feels like a tiny heat pulse against your skin. This pulse traces along all of your Thread Veins and treat them with a Veinwave™ pulse.
After the area to be treated has received as many Veinwave™ pulses as required, your skin treated with a soothing Aloe Vera gel.
You can immediately apply your usual makeup should you wish to do so.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments will I need?
We generally advise that optimal results occur after three treatments on mild Thread Veins in the facial area (generally on the nose and cheeks).
For rosacea (general redness of the face) we advise that 6 treatments normally achieve great results.
For leg and body Thread Veins, as the veins tend to be larger we again advise 6 treatments. The amount of treatments needed will always vary from individual to individual, but the result is always the same, the Thread Veins are completely removed.
Does Veinwave™ work?
Yes. The great thing about Veinwave™ is that it really works. Veinwave™ is specifically designed to treat Thread Veins and spider veins and rosacea so yes it does indeed work. We advise clients that it does take a few treatments to completely treat and remove their Thread Veins depending on how many and where on their body, but in all individuals the Thread Veins are completely removed. They literally are destroyed by the Veinwave™ pulses.
Is the treatment painful?
No it is not painful. It can be uncomfortable on areas such as the tip of the nose, but other than that it is a well tolerated procedure. If you find it uncomfortable at all we are able to use a numbing gel to ensure you are not in any discomfort during the procedure.
Do I get any benefit from paying for a course of treatment in advance?
Yes you certainly do.
If we advise that you will definitely need a certain number of treatments, then it is well worth paying for a course as you will receive a loyalty gift!
